LEGUAN
LEGUAN - A BRIDGE SYSTEM FAMILY
The LEGUAN bridge laying tank can create a 26 meter bridge of load class MLC 80. The fully-automatic equipment enables bridges to be built and reloaded in just five minutes, even by remote control. The LEGUAN is so easy to handle that the bridge can even be laid or reloaded by one person in an enclosed vehicle.Internationally used bridge system
KMW created the LEGUAN bridge system for the Norwegian, Greek, Belgian and Finnish armed forces. In addition, the LEGUAN system can also be built on other new or used tank versions. It is used in the tank versions of the Polish T91, the U.S. M1 WOLVERINE and the M47/M60.
The bridge can be also carried by wheeled vehicles like the 8x8 by MAN or the 10x10 by SISU. With additional pontoons the LEGUAN bridge can built ferries of variable load classes.
