GEPARD - CUTTING-EDGE TECHNOLOGY AGAINST LOW-FLYING AIRCRAFT
The GEPARD antiaircraft cannon tank (FlakPz) is a complex, high-tech all-weather weapons system against the threat of low-flying aircraft. As a general contractor, KMW has mass-produced 570 tanks of this kind that have been employed in Germany, Holland, Belgium and Rumania.
Ready for current and future threats
KMW is responsible for the overall GEPARD system. In addition, KMW offers solutions for training, simulators and workshop equipment, documentation, replacement parts supply and on site customer service. Since initial employment, KMW has been a primary supplier of technical and logistical consultation. The GEPARD has been modernized in the following areas: combat range, accuracy, reaction time, protection, reliability and ergonomics. It will be taking on modern combat aircraft, combat helicopters, remote-controlled missiles and rockets far into the 21st century.
