AGM
AGM - AIR-TRANSPORTABLE ARTILLERY SYSTEM
KMW is presently developing and testing the Artillery Gun Module (AGM). This fully-automatic, 155mm/52 caliber independent firing module is an innovative system design that retains the proven features and performance parameters of the PzH 2000. Integrated on a track or wheel chassis, the AGM is air-transportable in the Airbus A400M and accordingly responds to the new requirements profile of allied armed forces in NATO and the EU.
As a quickly transportable artillery support component, the AGM is used in evacuations, regionally-limited peace-keeping deployments, or show-of-force scenarios where air support or the use of heavier weaponry is not recommendable, available or too expensive. The AGM hence represents an innovative system supplement to the PzH 2000.
