In advanced warfare, the superiority of modern armed forces is characterised by standardised and real-time situation reporting, worldwide contact via satellite communication as well as extensive prevention of transmission errors.

To be able to run command systems in mobile operations, system compatibility for the integration of operational software, as well as IT and communications hardware in the vehicle concerned must be guaranteed. Integration must not impair protection, mobility or firepower.

A further prerequisite is the system-wide consideration of the logistics aspect. This includes logistics support, integrated system verification, standardised and full documentation, as well as operation and maintenance training, rounded out by the use of industrial support.
