The main mission of the military medical service is to maintain and restore the health of operating forces. Being able to reliably provide the required medical treatment to wounded soldiers in impassable regions and under difficult combat conditions is a key criterion.

KMW’s armoured ambulances are fitted with state-of-the-art medical equipment and have the same protection level against mines, IEDs and other threats as KMW combat vehicles in the same class.

Recovering and evacuating casualties during combat must be as straightforward and stress-free as possible. KMW’s ambulance systems meet this requirement with high off-road mobility and specially-developed loading systems: these systems have a rail structure that is modified to the features of the vehicle type concerned.
