This is precisely where tactical forces are constantly confronted with asymmetric threats through rockets, artillery and mortars. These kinds of attack must therefore be effectively prevented and neutralised in good time.

Smart Camp Defence – an innovative system network
The Smart Camp Defence concept from Krauss-Maffei Wegmann is a modular, upgradeable and effective option for providing military camps with optimised protection against attacks.

A fire control centre, radar and three KMW artillery systems enable threats to be reliably identified, tracked and effectively neutralised. Based on the size of area to be protected, the system network can be freely expanded. The PzH 2000 or the AGM forms the core of the system, which, depending on requirement and size of the camp, can include 4-6 weapons for extensive protection of the camp itself as well as units operating outside it.
