SECURE PARTNER IN DEFENSE
The long-term collaboration between the German company KMW and the Dutch military was further strengthened in 2004 as a result of the creation of DDVS – Dutch Defense Vehicle Systems B.V. In addition to the complex welding of armour-plate steel constructions, core competences include the assembly and maintenance/repair of military vehicles.
The collaboration between certified suppliers, research centres and the Dutch government ensures that the end products are of a consistently high quality. DDVS’ well thought out logistic system, specialised know-how and motivated team allow for the efficient repair and maintenance work on its vehicles. These competencies have been clearly demonstrated through the implementation of the Dutch/German joint government project for the development and production of 435 FENNEK vehicles and with the current BOXER project.
