DINGO 2
Flexible all-rounder
As a consequent evolution of the DINGO 1, which has been in use since 2001, the DINGO 2 is the safest and best-protected wheeled vehicle in its class. Several international users rely
on its optimal balance of protection, mobility and payload. Both DINGO models demonstrated their outstanding performance on extremely difficult terrains and under extreme climatic conditions during
operations in Bosnia-Herzegovina (SFOR), Macedonia (TFF), Kosovo (KFOR), Lebanon (UNIFIL), Chad (now MINURCAT) and last but not least in Afghanistan (ISAF). Both the ease of air transfer and the
high tactical mobility of the DINGO are significant advantages for these deployments.

DINGO 2
Flexible all-rounder
The main focus in the development and continuous improvement of the DINGO 2 lies in protecting the crew. Thanks to its modular structure, the DINGO squares up to the operational reality of
constantly growing and changing threats.
The innovative design of the crew safety cell makes the v-shaped floor, which is common to most conventional mine-protected armoured vehicles, obsolete. KMW guarantees direct crew protection
from blasts and ballistic threats through this safety cell. A mine-proof seat system prevents the transfer of explosion energy to crew members. The protection-optimised retaining concept for
equipment and personal effects also protects the occupants from the secondary effects of mines and IED blasts.
The secrets to the success of the DINGO 2 are its first-class protection and mobility characteristics and its variable equipment concept, which allows specific equipping for current as well
as future mission profiles. Just like the broad range of equipment options, the protection cell can also be adapted to suit the needs of the customer. The patrol vehicle cell is
offered in various designs for up to 8 occupants, while the large volume cell features doors to the sides and rear and can accommodate a variety of equipment such as a command post, NBC
reconnaissance or ambulance.
DINGO 2
Flexible all-rounder
The modular flexibility of the DINGO 2 also allows the development of additional variants for special mission requirements.
For instance, the DINGO 2 ground surveillance vehicle (BÜR) combines a high-performance radar system with the protection and mobility characteristics of the vehicle family. The DINGO 2
Pickup is a heavily-protected, highly mobile logistics vehicle with a payload of up to three tons.
The DINGO 2 is also an ideal platform for civilian security and humanitarian support teams that are deployed for operations in high-threat regions. The DINGO 2 Police is being successfully
deployed by its first customer.
More than 800 high-performance all-protected transport vehicles are under contract with 5 different nations. The tactical spectrum of the DINGO 2 family includes:
- Patrol and security missions
- Armoured ambulance
- Reconnaissance missions
- Surveillance and support missions
- Transport operations
- Deployment and evacuation support
- Combat damage repair
- NBC detection missions
