When operators/crews of weapon systems have reached all training goals in simulator based training equipment, they continue their training with first-time live firing. Unfortunately, in this important phase of their training proper training/supervision equipment is missing. This leads to the situation in which possible causes for any misses cannot be improved. Furthermore, expensive ammunition is wasted without any chance of future improvement.

To close this gap, in cooperation with international partners, KMW Training & Simulation (T&S) provides a wide range of static and moving target systems equipped with high precision hit/miss-hit target deviation detection, evaluation, record & replay and storage of data. These systems are available for all kind of armor ranges, infantry ranges including training grounds for MOUT scenarios.

To provide the optimal solution, KMW T&S links this firing range equipment to the proven KMW LFME. To provide the optimal solution, KMW T&S Live Firing Monitoring Equipment (LFME) provides not just the hit/miss-hit and target deviation information to the instructor but at the same time the actual status data of the weapon system including optical view through the aiming optics; now the instructor has the information necessary to precisely analyze why any miss-hit did happen.
On demand, KMW T&S provides turnkey solutions including planning, design and construction of buildings, installation of target and control systems and networking with KMW T&S’s LFME.
