Gunnery and Combat Simulator
The KMW Training & Simulation (T&S) Tank Gunnery Training Simulator for the armored force and the Tank Combat Training Simulator (AGPT) are container-based, relocatable training
solutions for outdoors employment. The containers are fitted with high-performance air-conditioning systems and are corrosion-protected; therefore, they can be used for example in climatic zone C0
an A2 as per STANAG without requiring any further infrastructural measures.
The Gunnery and Combat simulator systems are in service with various armies worldwide and feature high-fidelity reproductions of the gunner’s and commander’s stations including all
functionality to operate the weapons system.
Vision blocks and tactical vision equipment are simulated as are the exact replicas of the control panels for communication by radio and intercom.
In the case of the Combat Simulator, the training capabilities are enhanced by a high-quality reproduction of the driver’s station and a simplified, but physically and functionally
complete, replica of the loader’s station. The instructor’s station for monitoring the combat exercise is installed in a separate container.
The most advanced Gunnery Simulator is upgraded for combat simulation through a generic driver’s station. An integrated instructor’s station permits gunnery training with one instructor
per crew. An optional master instructor’s station permits the generic surveillance and control of a combat exercise when several ASPTs are networked to form a tank platoon.
