Driving Simulators for Tracked Vehicles
The KMW Training & Simulation (T&S) driving simulators are excellent tools for basic and advanced driver training. Tremendous savings can be realized through significantly lower energy consumption, less wear and tear on the original vehicles and shorter training cycles. Training of very dangerous situations can easily be practiced in a simulator, but are almost impossible using the original vehicles due to the risk of property damage and personnel injury. The exact replication of the driver’s station together with a high performance motion system and a seamless high-resolution multi-channel display system guarantees a highly realistic training environment.
A very detailed generic terrain database provides various types of terrain, including urban areas, and environments which might be encountered by the driver in the real world. Intelligent autonomous computer generated traffic (CGT) affords the trainee realistic interaction opportunities in the virtual environment such as found in real world conditions.
