The district of Padang, one of the most attractive areas of the city state, only hosts the parade every five years. This was a particular honour for LTC Alfred Fox, who led the “mobile column” with the KMW LEOPARDs at the head of the procession. “Being part of the National Day Parade and proudly flying the Singapore flag is something that I hold dear to me”, said the LTC, speaking about his third involvement in the mobile column at the parade.

At 7:04 pm the LEOPARDs then drove past the City Hall and continued into the city centre, where many more thousands of excited spectators were waiting.
